Ordering Info
We try to make ordering as easy as possible. If you would like to pay by credit
card, please use our online store. We cannot accept credit
cards over the phone. If paying by check or money order you may order by
mail.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express as methods of payment.
Orders received after normal business hours are promptly processed the next business
day. We use the PayPal service to process our credit card orders. We have found
this to be a superior solution to having our own merchant accounts directly with
the credit card companies. There are over 100 million PayPal accounts worldwide.
We accept checks, purchase orders, or money orders. We cannot accept credit cards
by mail.
- Please fill out our order
form. You can enter the order directly on the form using Acrobat or Acrobat
Reader.
- If you are shipping your order to the state of Georgia, USA, enter the amount of
sales tax based on your shipping address and the total amount excluding shipping.
- Use the shipping rates page to determine
the shipping cost.
- Print the form.

A Note to Our Customers in the State of Georgia
Orders shipped to a Georgia address are required to pay sales tax according to the
county of the shipping address. Orders not shipped to Georgia, which includes all
electronic secure delivery (ESD) items are not subject to sales tax.
If you order items other than Electronic Secure Delivery (ESD) software from our
online store, all Georgia customers will be charged 7%
sales tax. If you are a tax-exempt customer or are shipping to a county whose sales
tax rate is less than 7%, you may request a refund by filling out our
feedback form. Be sure to include your name and invoice number.

Only Georgia residents need to remit sales tax for physical shipments. Parastream
is not responsible for sales tax remission to states other than Georgia, nor for
products delivered electronically. If you are exempt from Georgia sales tax, please
fill out form ST-5 from the
Georgia Department of Revenue, and mail or fax it to us prior to placing your order.
Please provide us with a telephone number or email address so we can notify you
when your ST-5 has been accepted.
Purchase Orders
We regret that we cannot accept Purchase Orders at this time. We expect this to
be a temporary situation.
Out of Stock
- Orders paid by check, money order or credit card: Items not available for immediate
shipment will be shipped as they become available. Items not available at the end
of 30 days will be canceled and refunded or credited. The number of backorder days
may be extended beyond 30 days with your approval.
- Orders On Account: Items not available for immediate shipment will be shipped as
they become available. Items not available at the end of 90 days will be canceled.
The number of backorder days may be extended beyond 90 days with your approval.
For hardware purchases, Parastream will gladly accept merchandise returns and will
replace the product or refund your money at your option. In order to facilitate
our return processing:
- Please contact a Customer Service Representative to obtain a Return Material
Authorization number and Shipping Address.
- All returns should be made within 30 days of date of invoice and be accompanied
by the original invoice number and a brief explanation of the reason for the return.
Software packages must be returned unopened for credit.
- Returns made past 30 days of the invoice date may be subject to a 15% restocking
fee.
- Return freight charge must be prepaid. Sorry, COD returns cannot be accepted.
- Return merchandise in original packaging and in resalable condition.
- Please note that parts returned due to customer error may be subject to a restocking
charge and that “Not-in-Catalog Items” are not returnable.
- Defective merchandise may be returned within 90 days of date of invoice and need
not be in original packaging. This return policy may be altered for special circumstances.
Please note that downloaded software purchases are final. All software
products have a demo version available, and should be downloaded first for evaluation.
Only after evaluation of the demo version proves its value to you should you purchase
and download the full software product.
Dishonored Check Policy
If a check you give us as payment is dishonored for any reason by the bank or other
institution on which it is drawn, you agree to pay us 5% of the face value of the
check or $20.00, whichever is greater as a service charge (if the check cannot be
redeposited) pursuant to Georgia Statute OCGA 16-9-20. In addition, you agree to pay any other reasonable
charges imposed by any check verification company or collection agency that we may
use for collection.
International Orders
In addition to the United States and its territories, Parastream also accepts orders
from other countries. All orders of foreign origin are exported from the U.S. in
accordance with the Export Administration Regulations. Diversion contrary to U.S.
Law is prohibited. An additional handling charge of $6.00 will be included for processing
and invoicing. All duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer. Parastream
cannot accept letters of credit, personal checks or certified personal checks. A
cashier's check in U.S. funds will avoid processing delays; money orders can
result in a 2-3 month delay.
Freight Damage
If you receive merchandise that has been damaged in transit it is important to keep
the shipping carton, packing material and parts intact. Please contact Parastream
Customer Service to initiate a claim.
Prices/Quantities
Prices are subject to change without notice and quantities may be limited.
Parastream’s sole obligation for products that prove to be defective within 90 days
of purchase will be replacement or refund. Parastream gives no warranty either expressed
or implied and specifically disclaims all other warranties, including warranties
for merchantability and fitness. In no event shall Parastream’s liability exceed
the buyer’s purchase price nor shall Parastream be liable for any indirect or consequential
damages.
This warranty does not apply to products which have been subject to misuse (including
static discharge), neglect, accident, or modification, or which have been soldered
or altered during assembly and are not capable of being tested.
DO NOT USE PRODUCTS SOLD BY Parastream AS CRITICAL COMPONENTS IN LIFE SUPPORT DEVICES
OR SYSTEMS!
Products sold by Parastream are not authorized for use as critical components in
life support devices or systems. A critical component is any component of a life
support device or system whose failure to perform can be reasonably expected to
cause the failure of the life support device or system, or to affect its safety
or effectiveness.
