Front Panel White Backing Masks

IMSAI is proud to offer high-quality replacement white backing masks for any IMSAI 8080 machine. While the paper mask seems simple enough, its purpose is two-fold:

• Provide a white reflective background for the clear portions of the photo mask.
• The foil backing prevents the red acrylic filter behind it to bleed through the white paper, which would cause the graphics to appear pink.

These backing masks are produced on a professional die-cutting machine to a tolerance of ± 0.010 (0.25 mm) inch. They have been modified to work with the original IMSAI photo masks with the positioning error (see photo masks) or the corrected ones. These masks are slightly thicker than the originals.
