I cannot thank Robert and Parastream enough for their repair/refurbishment of my 1st generation Korg CX-3! When I initially contacted Parastream, I was hopeful that this large project would be something they would agree to handle. The CX-3 I purchased on eBay was barely worth the unbroken parts it contained - but the fully functioning, virtually brand new Korg CX-3 I now perform with is truly an amazing electronic resurrection. The expertise and attention to detail this project received is as close to "perfect" as anyone could hope for. I am forever grateful that my 1970s era CX-3 truly has a second life ahead of it. Thank you for being true artisans of your craft!

You guys moved Heaven & Earth to not only fix my Korg CX3 - but to get it back to me in Detroit in time for me to play a string of important dates that I couldn’t fit my Hammond B3 onto the stage for.... and did WONDERFUL job !!! Robert was OUTSTANDING to work with and understood the "Rock & the Hard Place" I was stuck between - - and he really came through. I can’t recommend you guys more Highly. As a keyboardist - it meant so much to have another keyboardist working on my "baby" and shooting straight with me about what was found wrong. Thanks again.

Usually dealing with musical instruments, you’re asking the other party to just reach in your pocket and take everything! This was not the case with Robert. I thought I knew what was wrong with my Korg keyboard, but it turned out to be something totally different. Robert figured it out and had it back to me within a week working perfectly! All this for 1/2 the price anyone else would try to rob you for! Thanks Again!!!

Robert Weatherford and his company Parastream Technologies have been extremely helpful and successful in the repair of my Korg BX-3’s upper manual. KORG Canada and local repair shops were of no use due to the organ’s vintage electronics. Next I searched the internet and found Parastream Technologies. The web site accurately described the failure of my upper manual. Still a little uncertain that I really needed the recommended parts (RP-SM304A) I contacted Parastream for advice. My e-mail was promptly replied with trouble-shooting suggestions I should try before ordering parts. I eventually ordered parts but was saddened to find that they did not fix the problem. I contacted Robert for more advice. Several suggestions were made however still I had no luck. Robert suggested that I send him the faulty circuit board by mail. He promptly fixed it and sent it back. All is fine! In summary I highly recommend Robert and Parastream Technologies to anyone in need of repair of their BX-3/CX-3. Robert has the passion for and expertise to fix these Korg organs. You can even mail circuit boards to Parastream for repair. Thank-you Robert and Parastream.

Parastream PagePorter™

I don’t see how any serious web designer can do without PagePorter. Without it, you can use FrontPage to design a look and feel and automated navigation for your site, *OR* you can do ASP.NET programming, but not both. But with PagePorter I now have the benefit of being able to use a FrontPage theme that is consistent throughout my web site on both static htm and aspx pages alike. Kudos to Parastream Technologies for this wonderful product.

RP-SM304A™

After waiting 2 years to for SM305 chips for my Korg CX-3, Parastream finally got them for me. After installing them, some other features on the organ still did not work. Through several weeks and even more emails, Robert went way out of his way to help me figure out the problem and I got it fixed. I would HIGHLY recommend Robert to anyone with a broken CX-3 or any other electronic problem for that matter. Thanks Robert!!

I was very fortunate to find the RP-SM304A in a Google search for SM-304, with eight of the IC’s in a Crumar MagicVox 2000 electronic accordion. Discussions with Robert led to my purchasing four, one of which Robert had to custom-build to my specs. As it turned out, I did not need the RP-SM304A’s, but without them I couldn’t have completed a complex troubleshooting situation. My dealings with Parastream were smooth and problem-free, and Robert was both helpful and accommodating. I would highly recommend his services in any context!

Thank you for the RP-SM304A chips. They work like a charm! What was once a smashed, trashed and battered CX3 is now an organ. All I need to find now is its missing ‘G’ key. Please let me know if you ever run into somebody who has extra Korg CX keys lying around.

I just purchased your RP-SM304A circuit, to replace a dead Siemens unit which had caused R64 on the main board to burn up. I was surprised, and very gratified, to find your site and to know that you supply replacements for the old Siemens chips. Thank you! I can now get my old CX-3 back in service. I would love to see a C/V add-on kit, and I imagine that there are many CX-3 owners who would agree.

Hi, Just wanted to say thanks for making that RP-SM304A available! Not only did it fix the CX-3, but it seems to sound a whole lot clearer and more alive than it did before, without any alteration to the warmth and sound of the original CX-3. The upper half of the keyboard now sounds great, and the doubled octave hi-c note is now playing correctly.
